Men's Fellowship¶
Welcome to the JICF Men's Fellowship.
The Men's Fellowship exists to help men grow into mature followers of Jesus Christ who faithfully love God, lead their families, serve the church, influence their workplaces, and make disciples.
We believe that God transforms men not merely through information, but through biblical truth lived out in authentic Christian relationships.
Our Mission¶
To make disciples of Jesus Christ by helping men:
- Know Christ personally
- Grow spiritually
- Build authentic relationships
- Serve faithfully
- Make disciples who make disciples
Our Vision¶
We envision a community of men who are:
- Passionate followers of Jesus
- Faithful husbands and fathers
- Godly leaders in their homes and workplaces
- Servant leaders within the church
- Intentional disciple-makers
Success is not measured merely by attendance, but by transformed lives that reproduce spiritual growth in others.
Our Philosophy¶
Jesus did not command His followers to simply attend meetings.
He commanded us to make disciples.
Therefore, everything we do—from Saturday gatherings to small group discussions, mentoring relationships, prayer, and fellowship—is designed to help men take their next step toward Christ and ultimately help others do the same.
Foundations of Discipleship¶
Beginning August 2026, the Men's Fellowship is launching the Foundations of Discipleship series.
This curriculum establishes a common biblical foundation for every man and explores topics such as:
- Following Jesus
- Spiritual Disciplines
- Identity in Christ
- Prayer
- God's Word
- Christian Community
- Serving Others
- Sharing the Gospel
- Making Disciples
The goal is not simply to complete a Bible study, but to establish lifelong discipleship.
How We Grow¶
We encourage every man to continue growing through four intentional relationships:
Upward¶
Growing in our relationship with God through prayer, Scripture, worship, and obedience.
Inward¶
Growing in personal holiness and Christ-like character.
Outward¶
Serving our families, church, workplace, and community.
Forward¶
Helping others follow Jesus through intentional disciple-making.
Small Groups¶
Small groups are the heart of our ministry.
They provide a safe environment where men can:
- Study Scripture
- Pray together
- Share life honestly
- Encourage one another
- Hold each other accountable
- Grow together
Transformation happens best in relationships.
Leadership¶
Every Men's Fellowship leader is expected to:
- Walk closely with Christ
- Shepherd the men entrusted to him
- Build authentic relationships
- Facilitate biblical discussions
- Model disciple-making
- Develop future leaders
- Foster biblical community
Leadership is not about position—it is about serving others by example.
Measuring Success¶
Healthy ministries produce healthy disciples.
We celebrate:
- Spiritual growth
- Obedience to Christ
- Biblical community
- Faithful service
- Gospel conversations
- New disciple-makers
- Future leaders
Attendance matters.
Transformation matters more.
