JICF Teens Ministry – Verity Youth

Mission

To build a community of multicultural, Christ-centered 7th–12th graders, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to grow in their faith, defend it, and remain firm when they go out into the world.

Vision

Verity Youth envisions a generation of young people passionately pursuing Christ and His Kingdom. We seek to nurture teens who are grounded in Scripture, empowered to lead, and committed to living out their faith in every area of life.

Purpose

Our purpose is to disciple teens through teaching, mentoring, and authentic community. We aim to provide a safe and engaging environment where youth can explore their faith, ask hard questions, and develop resilience to stand firm in Christ.

Small Groups

While large gatherings provide opportunities for social interaction and worship, the greatest growth happens in small groups.
- Small groups are led by dedicated volunteers who impart wisdom, teach the Bible, and instill core values.
- Groups are organized by age and gender, serving as hubs for evangelism, discipleship, and community.
- Curriculum and communication are provided to ensure consistency and depth in teaching.

Outcomes

Through Verity Youth, teens will: - Grow in knowledge of God’s Word and confidence in their faith.
- Experience authentic fellowship and mentoring relationships.
- Develop resilience to defend their faith in the world.
- Be empowered to serve as future leaders in ministry and mission.

Leadership

Lee Khen Seng serves as Director of Verity Youth.
He leads the ministry with a passion for discipling young people and equipping them to live faithfully for Christ.
